CLT Conference Call

Monthly CLT Conference Call

The Continuing Lay Training department at the Global Ministries Center in Kansas City now has free monthly conference calls to help maximize the ministry within the local church. Every month there is a different focus. CLT credit is available for participating in the conference. Go to the CLT website for more information.

Friday, 03 September 2010, 6p-Midnight, is the next chapter in our epic entitled Nazarene Night at Six Flags. You can order your ticket(s) now! Six Flags gives us a pretty sweet deal: buy one ticket at $28.99 + tax ($31.31), and receive a free return ticket good through September 2010. You must purchase your ticket(s) by 20 August to get this great price. The next tier is 21 August - 02 September for $39.99 + tax. Tickets purchased on 03 September will be full price ($51.99) and I don't know if the return admission in September is included.

Welcome to the West Texas District Church of the Nazarene

seal The West Texas District of the Church of the Nazarene elebratied its 100th anniversary in 2008. This was not only an historic year for the district, but also for the International Church of the Nazarene. The denomination as a whole also celebrates it's centennial year in 2008 as well. The Church of the Nazarene became an international denomination in Pilot Point, TX on October 13, 1908. There the Church of the Nazarene was united with the Holiness Church of Christ. Other denominations before and after have come together to be a part of the Church of the Nazarene. From its beginning the Church of the Nazarene has had a global as well as local concern. Nazarene missionaries were already in parts of Africa and Europe. Today the Church of the Nazarene is in over 140 countries worldwide.
