CLT Conference Call

Monthly CLT Conference Call

The Continuing Lay Training department at the Global Ministries Center in Kansas City now has free monthly conference calls to help maximize the ministry within the local church. Every month there is a different focus. CLT credit is available for participating in the conference. Go to the CLT website for more information.

New NPH Resource - "My Books" Bookstand!

Nazarene Publishing House (NPH) and your NPH Central Region Church Relations staff are pleased to announce to the West Texas District the launch of a fresh and exciting way to introduce and promote NPH books and resources to congregations all year long! This program is called the NPH 'My Books' book stand. 'My Books' is a church lobby book stand display that could be located in a prominent spot in your local church to inform people of new releases from NPH.

How Does This Work?

There is no cost to the church to have the display. No cash exchange or paper work involved for billing. All orders can be placed online, by web, or via a cell phone using a scan app if the user owns a iphone or Droid phone. The stand contains nine cards that represent books. Each card informs about the book and how to order. Each card also contains a discount code that allows the purchaser to receive 15% off the purchase. NPH also sends a free power point presentation for pre-service viewing of selected books. There are no church size restrictions.

This is a great way to support NPH, get Wesleyan-Holiness resources in front of your folks all year long, and help grow new and growing disciples of Jesus Christ.

Welcome to the West Texas District Church of the Nazarene

seal The West Texas District of the Church of the Nazarene elebratied its 100th anniversary in 2008. This was not only an historic year for the district, but also for the International Church of the Nazarene. The denomination as a whole also celebrates it's centennial year in 2008 as well. The Church of the Nazarene became an international denomination in Pilot Point, TX on October 13, 1908. There the Church of the Nazarene was united with the Holiness Church of Christ. Other denominations before and after have come together to be a part of the Church of the Nazarene. From its beginning the Church of the Nazarene has had a global as well as local concern. Nazarene missionaries were already in parts of Africa and Europe. Today the Church of the Nazarene is in over 140 countries worldwide.
